Jenny and Griffin met in high school while working on a class project together. They attended Homecoming together, and made their relationship official on Griffin's 18th birthday. Fast forward to seven years later, and these two high school sweethearts tied the knot at Historic Stonebrook Farm, and it was such a beautiful and perfect day! I wanted to share the sweetest note from jenny about their love story after they began dating in high school:
"The rest of the school year went by in a flash of movie nights and lunch dates, and before we knew it, it was time for Griffin to leave for college, creating a distance of 10 hours between us. People always say that long-distance doesn’t work, but traveling across 5 states doesn’t seem too bad when the love of your life is waiting for you at the end of the trip. Countless trips to and from Penn State and USC were how we spent the next 4 years, loving every second together and looking forward to the next visit each time we were apart.
I think we knew very early on that a proposal was in our future, and after graduation, Griffin knew the time had come. With the help of some eager roommates, a surprise proposal was set up at the arboretum in Penn State, and the rest is history.
Quarantining during a pandemic hasn’t been easy, but one thing we can be grateful for is the amount of time that we have been able to spend with each other, something that we have never taken for granted during our relationship.
Now, we are quickly approaching 7 years together and can’t wait for what the future has in store. We can’t wait for the day that we finally get to say “I do.” We are both so happy to be able to marry someone we call our best friend, and we look forward to sharing our big day with our wonderful friends and family!"
