Cheers to last first dates. Something that seemed to be on both Katie and Dietrich's minds the night of their first date back in 2017. Flash forward to the day they would make it official where the two were down in Ocean City, New Jersey for Katie to run her very first 5k race. Katie’s sister was there to cheer her on and she and Dietrich eagerly awaited Katie to cross. Little did Katie know her day was about to get even more exciting!

After her sister made her walk down to the beach, Dietrich handed Katie a gift bag, exclaiming how proud he was of her doing the race. As Katie began to take things out of the bag, he told her to reach the bottom. She pulled out a little box with a handwritten letter as Dietrich got down on one knee. Her sister was able to capture the very special moment. 

It was so fun to be able to return to OCNJ for their engagement session, as we walked around and they showed me their favorite spots - including a Diner where they treated me to pancakes - seriously the sweetest couple ever!
