Little did Kaila and Drew know that their trips to Nashville would lead to meeting their future husband/wife but that’s how their story goes! Kaila was in town on a birthday trip with girlfriends, while Drew was there for work - he works for the Baltimore Ravens who were playing against the Tennessee Titans. Both Kaila and Drew ended up at the same bar with their friends and after Drew accidentally knocked over Kaila's drink, they began talking and Drew gave Kaila his number. The couple had to do a bit of the long-distance thing but would meet halfway in Delaware for dates. Eventually, they knew marriage was in the cards and they started planning their wedding at Stella New Hope, a riverfront venue along the Delaware River. A favorite spot for the couple, who even named their puppy Stella!

Kaila and Drew exchanged vows in a beautiful candlelit ceremony just after sunset with the night sky overlooking the river, and guests were treated to cozy blankets in case they got cold. Opting to DIY most of the wedding, they incorporated reds and greens to give a Christmasy touch to their theme. They even went the non-traditional route and chose a tiered bundt cake with white icing that looked like snow caps.

This wedding was elegant, romantic, and so dreamy! I had a great day celebrating with Kaila and Drew, capturing their winter wedding in the lovely town of New Hope.
